Hortica Insurance & Employee Benefits Names New CFO |

Hortica Insurance & Employee Benefits, specialists in providing business insurance, employee benefits and personal insurance to the horticultural industry since 1887, is pleased to announce Joan Lebkuecher (CPA, CPCU) as the new company chief financial officer (CFO) and treasurer, effective July 1, 2008. Lebkuecher has been with Hortica for more than 16 years, most recently serving as
controller and assistant vice president. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Illinois CPA Society.
Lebkuecher holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Eastern Illinois University and is currently completing her master’s in business administration at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. A native of Edwardsville, Ill., she remains active in the local community.
