Hortica Earns "Company of the Year" Recognition From St. Louis CPCU Chapter |

Hortica Insurance & Employee Benefits, specialists in providing business insurance, employee benefits and personal insurance since 1887, was recognized yesterday as "Company of the Year" by the St. Louis Chapter of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) Society.
“This recognition came as a result of Hortica’s continued support of the CPCU Society and the St. Louis chapter specifically”, said Jeffery Lance, president of the St. Louis Chapter of the CPCU. “Hortica has always encouraged and supported their employees’ pursuit of professional industry designations, and the company has been a great resource to the chapter.” Additionally, Lance cited the work Hortica is doing in developing insurance profession-related curriculum at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
“We’re honored to earn this recognition,” said Hortica president and CEO Mona Haberer. “Hortica employees are encouraged to pursue a CPCU designation because attaining it requires personal commitment, advanced insurance knowledge and adherence to a code of ethics that mirrors Hortica’s code of ethics.
